Dr. Seyda Oztuna is a dedicated psychiatric nursing specialist and researcher currently affiliated with Balıkesir Atatürk City Hospital. She holds a doctorate in Psychiatric Nursing and has developed strong expertise in mental health, forensic nursing, and public health. Her research focuses on critical issues such as violence in healthcare, migration and mental health, substance use disorders, and trauma-related psychiatric evaluations. Dr. Öztuna has contributed extensively to national and international peer-reviewed journals and scientific congresses, reflecting her commitment to advancing evidence-based practice. Her interdisciplinary work integrates clinical insight with innovative approaches, including artificial neural networks in mental health research. She is particularly engaged in addressing vulnerable populations and improving mental health outcomes through research, education, and professional practice in diverse healthcare settings.
