Institut Curie | France

Emmanuelle Jeannot is a clinical scientist specializing in molecular oncology with a strong focus on circulating tumor DNA and droplet digital PCR–based diagnostics. Her research has led to the development of highly sensitive assays for detecting clinically relevant genetic alterations, including ESR1 mutations in breast cancer, contributing to improved monitoring of treatment resistance and resulting in a patented innovation. She has also made significant contributions to HPV-related cancer research by demonstrating the utility of circulating HPV DNA as a robust biomarker for disease monitoring, treatment response assessment, and early relapse detection. Through her involvement in large multicenter clinical trials and research consortia, her work has had a direct translational impact, integrating advanced molecular tools into routine clinical and precision oncology practice.
